Masterclass “Opera, the Art Song and Sacred Music”

Intensive summer course on vocal technique and interpretation for singers with Adelisa Tabiadon and Loris Peverada

Falcade – Italy – Dolomites
17-28 July 2023

Twelve days, intensively dedicated to classical singing. The masterclass is open to students of all ages (15+) and of all levels who desire to attempt- or are already developing a professional career. Lessons focus both on vocal technique and on interpretation, according to the student’s needs and level. Selected students will be able to perform in two concerts: on Wednesday 26 July an evening concert with mainly opera repertoire will be organised and on Friday 28 July, to close the Masterclass, there will be a concert with sacred music.

The masterclass consists of a regular course for professionals and students of advanced level, and a beginners’ course. The teachers are Adelisa Tabiadon, soprano, and Loris Peverada, pianist/repertoire coach, both musicians of international level (please find curricula below). Adelisa and Loris will be present in each lesson of the regular course. Every student of the regular course will have 10 guaranteed lessons of about 45 minutes each. Spoken languages: Italian and English. Lessons will focus on opera repertoire mainly. Students are welcome, however, to propose any sacred and chamber music repertoire they might want to work on.

The organisation may decide to activate a beginners’ course, if enrollments give occasion to do this. The choice of students and their division in either regular or beginners’ course will be based on the curriculum sent and audio / video material eventually requested. Decision lies with the teachers and organisation of the Masterclass; no correspondence can be entered into.
